2018/19 Season

Murray had a very poor pre-season, failing to score in any of Coventry's 7 games, including wins over Atletico and Boca Juniors. He made his debut in a 2-0 win over Cardiff City on the opening day of the season, Murray coming off the bench to grab a quickfire double. Murray then proceeded to go 7 games without a goal, finally breaking his drouht in a 2-0 win over Watford. Murray getting the second goal of the game. However, Murray failed to make a impact in his sides 7-1 loss to Chelsea, or a 0-0 draw against Burnley. However, what happened next was unexpected from Murray. A change of tactic, seen Murray bag an impressive 15 goals in 7 appearences, with Congolese born, English striker Jules Lumanza getting 8 assists, with Lumanza grabbing 4 goals himself. Murray finished the season with 33 league goals in 35 games, and 45 goals in 44 appearences, along with 7 assists. Grabbing 7 hat-tricks along the way. Including 5 goals in a 7-0 trouncing of Tottenham. At the end of the season, Paul Murray picked up the Premier League Golden Boot.
